William McLaughlin was born in England (or Ireland?) between 1814 and 1823. He came to Maryland before 1838. He married Mary McKinley who came from Ireland to Maryland before 1848. They both died in Baltimore, Maryland--Mary in 1889 and William in 1893. Traces some descendants and McLaughlin relatives of Maryland.

William Baker and Sarah Arnet married in 1776 at Charleston, South Carolina. Four children were born there, and five more in North Carolina. James Baker was the ancestor of the Bakers in Mt. Lebanon, Louisiana. Descendants of these two men scattered into Kansas, Iowa, Virginia, Texas, Illinois, Alabama and elsewhere.

Charles McLaughlin (1812-1892) was born in northern Ireland where he married Mary McManomem (1819-1894). They immigrated to Ontario in 1835 and settled in Albion Township. Most of the family later moved to Cascade Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Ontario, Pennsylvania, Hawaii, and elsewhere.
