Rebecca Christian Smithwick, daughter of John Smithwick and Mary Catherine Voluntine (1835-1914), was born in 1873 in Alabama. She married Edmund Lines, son of Edmund Lines and Ann Curry, in Texas and they had five children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ireland, Illinois, Alabama and Texas.

Jacob Lanius came from Bavaria and entered Virginia from Pennsylvania. His grandson Jacob (1814-1851) was born in Boletourt County, Virginia and in 1820, migrated to Potosi, Missouri. He married Nancy Tong in 1839. He died in Fayette County, Missouri. Descendants and relatives lived in Massachusetts , Tennessee, Kentucky and elsewhere.

John Haw, son of Simon Haw (1776-1849) and Jane Winterburn (1776-1844), was born 19 November 1806 in Dishforth, Yorkshire, England. He married Mary Lazenby (1808-1855), daughter of William Lazenby (1772-1840) and Elizabeth Harrington (1771-1831). They emigrated in 1844 and settled in Wisconsin.

Charles Callen was born in Ireland. He married Alice Cowgill, daughter of Henry Cowgill and Alice Pain. They had seven children. He died 20 May 1825 in Tennessee. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Tennessee, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas.

David Beam, son of John Teeter Beam and Sarah Rudolph, was born in Geneva, Switzerland. His famiy emigrated in 1767 and settled in North Carolina. He married Rachel Cain (1777-1865). They had nine children. He died in 1858. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina.

Thomas Jefferson Scott, Sr. (1814-1856) was born in Georgia and married Margaret (Peggy) Ray in about 1833. They were the parents of eleven children. In 1850 they lived for a short time in Arkansas before settling in Texas. The children of Thomas and Peggy settled in Texas and Mississippi. Descendants lived in Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, California and elsewhere.
