Description
Moses Collins (1785-1858) was born in South Carolina but pioneered Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. In 1810, he married Mrs. Elizabeth Smith Houpt, who had one son. They had ten children. Descendants lived in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, Michigan and elsewhere.

John Airy (1778-1803) was probably born in Pennsylvania and died in England. He married Mary Jones (1778-1856) in 1798 probably at Brownsville, Pa. Mary had come to Brownsville in 1797 with her parents, John and Betty Woodnut Gregg Jones. John and Mary had two surviving children, Elizabeth (b. 1800) and John (b. 1802).
