This church is located between Galva and Moundridge. It was also known as Canton Mennonite Church.
Church members came from the Volhynian villages of Antonovka (now Antonivka), Karlswalde (now Prikordonne), Yadvigin (or Jadwinina, now Novosilka), Karl'sberg, and Kronswalde. The last two localities no longer exist.

Daniel McPherson, son of Daniel McPherson and Ruth Shires, was born in about 1722 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He married Mary Richardson. They had eight children. He died in about 1789 in Berkley County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia.
