John Kenneth McRae (1867-1957) was the son of Joseph McRae and Maria Taylor McRae. He married Pearl Elizabeth Sabin in 1895. He lived in Utah and Arizona.

Finley (Philip) McRae, son of Alexander McRae and Isabella, was born in 1755 in Kintail, Ross, Scotland. He married Christian McLeod in 1781 in Wilmington, North Carolina. They had eight children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina.

John Kenneth McRae (1867-1957) married Pearl Elizabeth Sabin (1876- 1956), the daughter of Parley Pratt Sabin (1848-1924) and Gecoza (Jacoza) Octavia Sims (1857-1886) of St. David, Arizona. They were the parents of nine children. Includes family memories of Pearl Elizabeth Sabin McRae. Pearl was the descendant of Josiah Sabin (1747-1833) and Elizabeth Nichols. Includes Sabin family.

Alexander Mowat (1813-1875) was born in Wick, Scotland and went to sea at a young age and remained at sea until 1848 when he settled in New Zealand. In 1850 he married Marjory McRae who had arrived in New Zealand in 1842 with her family. Shortly after their marriage, the Mowats moved with members of the McRae family to an area called Awatare. Alexander named his estate Altimarlock after a stream near Wick, Scotland. They were the parents of nine children....

Joseph Hawkins Fitzgerald was born 30 July 1773 in Amherst County, Virginia. His parents were John Fitzgerald and Nancy Bartlett. He married Ketura Catherine Parkhurst, daughter of Ezekiel Parkhurst and Abiel Hathaway, in 1799 in Shelby County, Kentucky. They had twelve children. He died in1854 in Ripley, Indiana. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky and Indiana. Includes Edwards Fuller, McRae and related families....

The first ancestor in America was Alexander McRae who was born in Scotland and immigrated to North Carolina in about 1745. His son was Alexander McRae (1745-1826) who married Catherine McRae. They were the parents of four children. They eventually settled in Harrison County, Indiana. Descendants live in Indiana and other parts of the United States.

Stephen Horton Herbert (1857-1929) was the son of John Sharpe Herbert and Charlotte Susan McGee. In 1882, he married Mary Duncan McRae (1859-1947) who was the daughter of John Wright McRae and Emeline Diggs. Their eight children were all born in Acona, Mississippi. Descendants lived in Arkansas, California, Tennessee and elsewhere.
