Henerie Hericke was born by about 1598 in England. He emigrated in 1629 and settled in Salem, Massachusetts, where he married Editha Laskin, daughter of Hugh Laskin and Alice, in about 1634. They had nine known children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Massachusetts, Connecticut. Maine, Vermont, New York, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.

Chiefly, a record of nine generations of descendants of Matthias St. John, Sension, or Sention who was born in England, came to Dorchester, Massachusetts in 1631-32, and was made a freeman there, on September 3, 1634. Matthias moved to Windsor, Connecticut in 1640. In 1654 he moved to Norwalk, Connecticut. Matthias and his wife, who's name is unknown, had at least four children. Matthias died in October or November 1669.

Moses Wood (1747-1818) and his brothers, Aaron and Nathan, moved from Sharon, Connecticut to Berkshire, Massachusetts and then to Pompey Hill, New York in 1806. He married Sarah Phelps in 1767. Thaddeus Mead Wood (1773-1836), son of Aaron Wood, was born in Lennox, Massachusetts, and married Patty Danforth. They moved to Onondaga County, New York in 1794. Descendants and relatives lived in New England New York, Louisiana, Texas and elsewhere.

John Caldwell was born in about 1745 in Belfast, Ireland. He married Ann King. They had six children. The emigrated in 1787 and settled in Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania and California.
