George Adam Dietz, son of Johann Adam Dietz and Elisabeth Haas, was born in 1836 in Kratzke, Russia. He married Anna Elisabeth Deines (1836-1923). They had five children. They emigrated in 1876 and settled in Kansas. He died in 1913 in Galatia, Kansas.

Johann Georg Deines was born in Germany in about 1721. He immigrated to Russia in 1766 and settled in Dönhof. He married Barbara Elisabeth and they had six children. Their grandson, Johann Jakob Deines (1817-1893), immigrated to the United States in 1876. Descendants and relatives have spread all across the United States.
