Eleazer Miller was born 4 November 1795 in Coeymans, Albany, New York. His parents were John Miller and Sabra Bradway. He married Rebecca VanZant, daughter of Gilbert VanZant and Rachel Lucas, in 1816. They moved to Utah in 1848 and settled in Salt Lake City. He died in 1876.
