Lovelys Purchase region included what is today Washington and Crawford counties in Arkansas, as well as a large part of the present day northeastern Oklahoma, including all of Sequoyah, Adair and Cherokee counties and part of Muskogee, Delaware, Mayes and Wagoner counties.
