James Fall Freestone, son of Thomas Freestone and Ann Fall, was born in 1840 at sea. His family settled in Hunterville, Ohio. His family migrated to Utah in 1853. He married Pauline Poulsen and Marie Lind. He was the father of nineteen children. He moved his family to Arizona in 1883.

The autobiography and genealogy of Lillian Mabel Freestone Millett, who was born Feb. 15, 1896 to George Leonard Freestone and Charlotte Beryll Packer in Safford, Graham Co., Arizona. She married William Howard Millett (1893-1958), son of Artemus Millett and Margaret Lovina Brundage, 1917 in Gilbert, Maricopa Co., Arizona. She has been a temple worker in the Arizona Temple. In 1976 she was nominated for the Mother of the Year Award in Arizona.

Lillian's family came from Switzerland after joining the LDS Church. Her mother, Wilhelmina Meyer, was born 14 October 1865 in Wuelflingen, Switzerland. Due to financial constraints, Wilhelmina & her sister Mathilde were sent ahead to the United States with some missionaries around 1877.
