Mary Ann Pulver Van Leuven's parents were possibly Henrick Pulver (1738- ca. 1787) and Anna Valentine Schafer (b. 1737) of New York. Traces Henrick's and Anna's lines back several generations. Includes a chart of all the Pulvers the author could find who were married at the time of Mary Ann's birth in 1768.

Herman Tecklenburg (1841-1922), a son of Hermann Tecklenburg and Anna Nagel, was born in Germany. After five years as a sailor, he settled in California in 1861. He married Margaretha Jurgens (1846-1929), a daughter of Hinrich Juergens. They had seven children. Most descendants live in California.

Charles Louis Selleneit was born 6 January 1831 in Bergamon, East Prussia. His parents were David Selleneit and Sharlotta Kerchenheimer. He married Anna K. Horn, daughter of George Horn and Henrica Korp, in 1867 in New York City, New York. They had nine children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Washington, Utah and California.

Conrad Mohr was born in 1842 in Germany and immigrated to Franklin Co., Indiana before 1860. He served as a soldier in the Civil War and married Elizabeth Boltz in 1868. They settled in Peppertown, Franklin Co., Indiana and he died in 1914 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was buried in Peppertown.
