Peter Clemens was born in Luxembourg in 1827. He married Barbara Molitor and they were the parents of nine children. About 1856 they came to America and settled in Illinois. Other members of their families also came to America about the same time and settled in Illinois and Minnesota. Information on many of their descendants is given in this volume.
Includes Theis, Wagner, Kartheiser, Millen, and related families.

Christian "Karl" Heinrich Dietz, Jr. was born 20 September 1819 in Kleinfalke, Thuringa, Germany. His parents were Christian Heinrich Dietz, Sr. and Maria Sophia Rosina Beyer. He married Augusta in about 1850. They had four children, none of whom lived to maturity. They emigrated in 1853 and settled in Wisconsin.
