Thomas Morrow was born 28 February 1806 in Greenbriar County, West Virginia. His parents were James Morrow, Jr. and Jane Luddington. He married Matilda Snook (b. 1807), daughter of John Snook and Nancy Brion, in about 1828 in Jackson County, Ohio. They had eleven children. He died in 1855 in Barnes City, Iowa.
