Description
The earliest known ancestor, Robert Moon (ca. 1623-1698), was born in England or Boston, Massachusetts. He left Boston abt. 1652 and went to Newport, R.I. Later members of his family settled in Exeter, West Greenwich and N. Kingstown, Rhode Island. He was married twice, and had six children born between 1645 and 1666. Descendants live in Vermont, Illinois and elsewhere.
