During the years 1709-1754, at least nine individuals surnamed Rohrbach/Rohrbaugh etc. emigrated from Switzerland, Germany and the Palatinate to the American Colonies. More than one hundred additional family members emigrated from Austria, Alsace, Bavaria and elsewhere between 1825 and 1900. Descendants live throughout the United States.
