Description
Admission registers included the date of admission to the school, the student's date of birth, address, name of parent or guardian, last date of attendance, and the reason for leaving. Log books were a daily or weekly diary of school events kept by the administrator, detailing visitors, speakers, etc., but not containing very many names or dates of genealogical value. Names of teachers, however, were usually given in the log books.
