Five Moser brothers--John, Henry, Frederick, Adam, and Franklin--came from Pennsylvania to North Carolina before the Revolutionary War. Frederick, whose descendants are listed in this record, lived in what is now Alamance County with his wife, whose name is unknown, his seven sons and five daughters.

Jacob Moser was born in 1859 in Baden, Germany. He emigrated in 1872 and settled in Morton, Illinois. He married Elizabeth Jacobs (1860-1941), daughter of John Jacobs and Elizabeth Minger, in 1882. Theyh ad thirteen children. He died in 1933 in Cissna Park, Illinois.

Frederick Moser (1783-1858 ) was born in North Carolina and moved to Kentucky where he married Dolly Derr (1792-1880). They were the parents of fifteen children and eventually settled in Indiana.
