Frederick Moser (1783-1858 ) was born in North Carolina and moved to Kentucky where he married Dolly Derr (1792-1880). They were the parents of fifteen children and eventually settled in Indiana. Their numerous descendants live in Indiana, Oklahoma, California, Oregon and other parts of the United States.

Marten Moser of Bavaria, Germany is cited as the first Moser in America.. He married Miss Kungle and they had seven children. They emigrated in 1728. George Moser emigrated in 1751. He had fourteen children. Traces some descendants of his son, Michael, in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Ancestors and descendants of the author's parents. Francis Marion Farly was born in 1875 in Morgan County, Indiana, the son of George Washington Farley and Jeretta Jane Elliott Farly. His family moved to Knox County, Indiana, when he was about age sixteen. He married Lulu Edna Cain (1877-1957)in 1900. They had eleven children, 1900-1921. He died in 1941 at Sanborn, Indiana. Andreas Ludwig Kesinger was born in 1703 in Mannheim, Germany or possibly in 1707 in Selzen, Hessen, Germany. His parents were Johann Balthasar Kesinger and Anna Maria Bingenheimer. He married Susanna Fischerin in about 1727. They had ten children. They emigrated in 1737 and settled in Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Illinois. John Fry (d.1820/1827) lived in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania in 1775, served in the Revolutionary War, and moved by 1810 to Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
