Edwards Cranston Brooks (1860-1922) was the son of Quincy Adams Brooks and Elizabeth Cranston of Portland, Oregon. Elizabeth was the daughter of Ephraim Cranston and Roxanna Edwards of Ohio. Her family traveled across the plains by ox-team and settled in Oregon. Edwards married Margaret Gray of Chicago shortly after graduation from West Point. Patrick Hanlin (d.1826) immigrated (with his parents) from Ireland to Pennsylvania, and served in the Revolutionary War. He moved to Harrison County, Virginia (now West Virginia) after the war, and later moved to Tyler County, Virginia (now West Virginia) and then to Washington County, Ohio. Descendants lived in West Virginia, Ohio, Missouri and elsewhere.

Hans Michael Moser (1717-1789), son of Samuel Moser, married Eva Maria Elsasser in 1741 in Bischwiller, Alsace, France, and immigrated to York County, Pennsylvania. Descendants (spelling the surname Musser or Mosser) and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio and elsewhere.

Paul Stenzel (1830-1914), son of Jacob Stenzel and Mary Plewka, married Julia Kullot in 1856 and lived in Nowa Wiese, Poland. In 1884 they immigrated to Minnesota Lake, Minnesota (via Hamburg and New York), to join some of their older children who had already immigrated. Descendants and relatives lived in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Montana, California and elsewhere. Includes some family history and ancestry in Poland.

George Washington Pyle was born 24 September 1858 in Monroe County, West Virginia. His parents were George Inzor Pyles and Elizabeth Arnott. He married Mary Agnes Wikle (1864-1945), daughter of Alexander Michael Wikle and Eliza H. Wiseman, 6 October 1887. They had ten children. He died 2 April 1932 in Morrill, Brown, Kansas. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, Minnesota and Colorado.

Christian Franckhauser, son of Peter Fankhauser and Christina Schwander, was born in 1668 in Vechingen, Bern, Switzerland. He married Veronica Risser in Tieffenbach, Alsace. They had six children. Their sons, Johann Michael Franckhauser (1709-1799) and Hans Peter Frankhauser (1714-1784), emigrated and settled in Pennsylvania.
