Henry Rumbaugh (fl.1764-1797) and two brothers, David and Solomon, immigrated from Germany to Connecticut, and later moved to Northampton County, Pennsylvania and then to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Kansas and elsewhere.

Description
The migration of Irish emigrants to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania brought a widow and her child, Hugh Hamilton. He was married about 1760 to Margaret Dickson. In 1770, they moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. He died leaving her with four children. Descendants lived also in South Carolina, Tennessee, Colorado and elsewhere.
