Edward A. Mullen (1827-1909) was born in Ireland and immigrated to the United States, perhaps in the 1840s and settled in Tennessee. He and his wife, Elisa A. (1826-1879), had eight children, ca. 1850-1861. He and his second wife, Mary A. (1855-1935), had no known children. Edward Mullen died at Cloverport, Tennessee. Descendants listed lived in Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas and elsewhere.
