Johann Michael Wilhite was born in 1671 in Schwaigern, Germany. He married Dorothea Mueller in 1692. They had three children who died as infants. Dorothea died in 1705. He married Anna Maria Hengsteller (b. 1684) in 1706. They had eight children. They immigrated to America in 1717 and settled in Madison County, Virginia. Descend- ants and relatives lived in Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, California and elsewhere.

Description
The earliest known ancestor, Cornelis Stephense Mulder, married at Albany, Hillitje Lookermans, probably the daughter of Pieter Janse Lookermans and Maria Teller. Pieter Lookermans was one of three brothers, Pieter, Govert and Jacob, who came to New Amsterdam in or about 1641 from Turnbout, Antwerp. Cornelis and his wife had twelve children all baptized in Albany.
