Description
A note with the baptism register 1908-1943 says all records preceding 1908 had been kept at St. Bridget Church in De Graff, Minnesota. The Church of the Sacred Heart was built in Murdock in 1894 and was a mission of De Graff.

Periodical for the interchange of genealogical and family history data about Haworth individuals and families in the United States. The immigrant ancestor was George Haworth (d.1724), son of James and Isabel Haworth, who immigrated from England to Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 1699, and married Mary Scarbro in 1710. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Indiana, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and elsewhere.

Joseph Stacy Murdock (1822-1899) was born at Hamilton, Madison Co., N.Y. His parents were Joseph Murdock (1783-1844) and Sally Stacy (b. 1778) Until he was 10, he lived with his maternal grandparents at New Salem, Mass. In 1840, Joseph took his parents to Kirtland and then to Nauvoo, Ill. where his father died. The family migrated to Utah where Joseph became known as a prominent colonizer.
