Description
William Needles purchased two tracts of land in Kent Co., Delaware, in 1744. There is no record of where he lived previously. He died in 1748 leaving a widow, Hannah, and three children. By 1750, Hannah Needles married William Harris. Descendants mentioned lived in Delaware, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Description
John Hallowell, a Quaker, of Hucknow, Sutton, Nottinghamshire, England, married twice and was the father of ten children, 1672-1696. He and his second wife, Mary Sharpe, with four children, immigrated to America in 1682 and settled at Darby, Pennsylvania. The family later moved to Abington, Pennsylvania. His descendant, Charles Tyson Hallowell (1780-1829), married Ann Lostreth (1784-1868) at the Friends Meeting House, Abington, Pennsylvania, in 1806....
