James Park (1746-1837), of Huguenot and Scottish lineage, immigrated from Nova Scotia to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and served in the Revolutionary War. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Kentucky and elsewhere.

Benjamin Fitzpatrick (1827-ca. 1865) was born in Montgomery, Alabama. He married Louisa Jane Thigpen (1837-1904), daughter of Oliver Thigpen and Elizabeth C. Allen of Perry County, Alabama. Their children were born in Greene County. Descendants lived in Alabama, Georgia, Utah, and elsewhere. Thigpen ancestry is traced to James Thigpen (1627-1679).

The immigrant ancestor, Abraham Neighbours (1684-1798), was born in France and was a Huguenot. After landing in Philadelphia, he subsequently migrated to Virginia and in Loudon County, Va. he met Rebecca and they married. He later moved to Burkingham County and on to South Carolina. William Beaver Jones was born in 1799 in Georgia. He married Rodah Holloway in 1823 in Madison County, Alabama. They had nine children. He married Calrissa and they had two children. He died in 1864 in Rally Hill. Arkansas. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, New Mexico and Idaho.

Vernie Dorville Ashby, son of Vernie Ashby and Frances James, was born in McHenry, Kentucky. He married Fonda Martelle Midkiff, daughter of Cicero Midkiff and Birdie Neighbors, in 1946 in Owensboro, Kentucky. They had two sons, Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia and Kentucky.

The earliest known ancestor of this family was James Keeler (1813-1899), who was born in St. Andrew, England, and died in Thurning, England. He married Sophia Watts (ca. 1821-1882). The history of Lambshead Ranch which is located in Throckmorton and Shackelford counties, Texas. The Lambshead Ranch area was occupied by several persons, including Randolph March, Robert Neighbors, and Jesse Stem, an Indian agent, who established an Indian agency there.
