Jonas Peter (Nilson) Nelson (1826-1882) was born in Bohult Södergárd, Sweden to Nils Jonasson (1787-1843) and Helena Larsdatter (1789- 1847). He married Anna Lovisa Samuelsdotter (1833-1896) and they became the parents of at least four children. The family immigrated to the United States and settled in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. Descendants live Minnesota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and California.

William Boynton (1606-1686) was born in Knapton, England and married Elizabeth Jackson in Salem, Massachusetts. He died in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Some descendants changed their name to "Byington" ca. 1696 when moving to Connecticut. Descendants lived in New York, Ohio, Utah, Saskatchewan, Alberta, North Dakota, Washington, Oregon, and elsewhere.

Carl Johan Nilson/Nelson (1822-1888) was born at Bohult Södergård, Parish, Kronbergs County, Sweden. He married Sara Stina Johansdotter (b. 1825) at Notteback, Sweden. They had four children, 1847-1859. He married 2) Kerstin (Christina) Persdotter (1832-1904) at Nottebak, Sweden, in 1862. They had six children, 1862-1876.
