Charles Edouard Flamion (1855-1926) immigrated from Belgium to Findlay, Ohio in 1880, and married Josephine Sophia Poisson in 1883. They settled in Arlington, Ohio, later moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Flemion) and relatives lived in Ohio, Indiana, Virginia and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in Belgium and France.

Adam Nicodemus was born 31 October 1705 in Medenbach. Germany. His parents were Henry Nicodemus (1677-1715) and Anna Margaretha Herr. He married Anna Gutha Conrad (1704-1753) 25 October 1727. They had five sons. They emigrated in 1753 and settled first in Pennsylvania and later in Frederick County, Virginia. Adam died in 1771. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia and Maryland.

Johann Henrich Nicodemus (1677-1715) was born in Medenbach, Germany and married Anna Margretha Herr in 1698. One son, Johann Adam Nicodemus (1705-1771), immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1753. He eventually settled in Frederick County, Virginia. Other descendants also immigrated to the U.S. Descendants lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Indiana, Kansas, North Dakota, Iowa, Oklahoma, Michigan, Texas, and elsewhere.
