Henry Crane (ca.1635-1711) and Benjamin Crane (ca.1630-1691), brothers (according to the author), emigrated from England to Wethersfield, Connecticut during or before 1655 (possibly Benjamin had been in Massachusetts earlier). Their father was probably John Crane (fl.1637-1642) of the "Muddy Brook" section of Boston now known as Brookline. Henry married Concurrence Meigs about 1663 and made several moves, but maintained a residence at Guilford, Conn....
