Theodore Evert Finley was born in Illinoiis in 1904. He married Bessie Mildred Norton in 1924 and they had 6 children. Information on their descendants, ancestors and siblings are included in this material. Ancestors are traced back to colonial times on the Finley line. Robert Edward Hicks (b. 1892) was born near Lansing, Michigan. He and Zoe Gladys Thurber (1895-1972) were married in 1916. They had eight children, all born in Lansing. Zoe was a descendant of Ferdinandus Van Sycklin (1635-1712) who immigrated to New Netherlands (later New York) in 1852. Robert's father was born in Canada, his mother was born in Wisconsin and they both died in Lansing, Michigan.
