Thomas Norton (1582-1648) was born in Sharpenhow, Bedfordshire, England, the son of William and Demis (Chomley) Norton. He married Grace Wells in 1625. They immigrated to Guilford, Connecticut in 1639. Descendants and relatives lived in England, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, South Dakota, Wyoming, Oklahoma, California and elsewhere.

John Strong Jr. (ca.1610-1699), a son of John Stronge Sr. and Eleanor Dean, married twice (once in England) and immigrated to Hingham, Massachusetts in 1630. He and his family moved in 1638 to Taunton, in 1646 to Windsor, Connecticut, and in 1659 to Northampton, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, North Dakota, California and elsewhere. Includes ancestry to the 1500s in England.

Robert Edward Hicks (b. 1892) was born near Lansing, Michigan. He and Zoe Gladys Thurber (1895-1972) were married in 1916. They had eight children, all born in Lansing. Zoe was a descendant of Ferdinandus Van Sycklin (1635-1712) who immigrated to New Netherlands (later New York) in 1852. Robert's father was born in Canada, his mother was born in Wisconsin and they both died in Lansing, Michigan.
