Patrick Feeney (ca. 1814-1904) was probably born in County Sligo, Ireland. His wife, Ann Feighney (ca. 1817-1903) was probably born at Ballymeenney, County Sligo, Ireland. They had ten children, ca. 1848-1863. Two of their sons and one daughter remained in Ireland. Sean Hickey, blacksmith, was born about 1829 in the townland of Lisnaboy, Cullen Parish, Co. Cork. He married Mary Cronin of the nearby townland of Knockduff. and they were the parents of nine children: Katherine, Andrew, Daniel J., Hanora, Denis, Patrick, William, Johanna and John. Surnames of the spouses of the children are Looney, Buckley, O'Connor, Howard, Sweeney, Herlihy and Roche. Descendents live in Ireland, the United States and Australia....

Stephen Gray (ca. 1806-1858) was transported to Hobart, Australia in 1830 from West Riding, Yorkshire, England. He married Mary Burns (1817-1883) in 1837 at Launceston, Australia. She was a native of County Tipperary, Ireland and arrived in 1833 with her parents. Stephen and Mary settled in northwest Tasmania and changed their surname spelling to "Grey". Descendants lived in Australia and elsewhere.

The Curtin family originated in Ireland and was originally called MacCairteain. Laurence Curtin (ca. 1801-1894) was born in Knockbrack, County Limerick, Ireland. He married Mary Cotter and was the father of six children, one of whom was Cornelius C. Curtin (1843-1930). In about 1866 Cornelius immigrated to America and moved with another brother to Illinois. In 1874 he married Sarah M. Molohon (1857-1937) and they were the parents of ten children....

Hope McNiven was born 19 March 1803 in Glasgow, Scotland. He married Agnes Woodrow (d. 1849) in 1832. They had five children. They immigrated to Canada in 1837. He married Catherine Fraser in 1854 in St. Catherines, Ontario. They had two children. He died in 1888. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Scotland, Ontario and Tennessee.
