John Buchanan (1786-1839), of Scottish ancestry, immigrated from Donegal Co., Ireland to Lexington, Kentucky about 1800 and married Nancy Ann Bach (or Back) in 1812. They became converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Archibald Waller Overton Buchanan was their son. John was a cousin of James Buchanan, President of the United States.

James Jorgen Andersen was born 17 September 1838 in Nybolle, Svendborg, Denmark. His parents were Anders Hansen (1811-1892) and Ane Katrine Rasmussen. He married Ane Kjirstine Eskesen (1840-1921), daughter of Eske Lambertsen (1806-1866) and Else Christensen (1802-1875), 26 October 1867. They had nine children. They emigrated in 1872 and settled in Fountain Green, Sanpete, Utah. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Denmark and Utah....

James Holton was born 21 June 1830 in Tingwick, Buckinghamshire, England. His parents were James Holton and Marriah Bale. He married Mary Ann Crumb (1838-1878), daughter of Arnold Crumb and Martha, 24 January 1856. They had ten children. He married Abby Ellen Benson in 1878. He died 18 March 1917 In Pennsylvania. Includes a transcription of Joseph T. Holton's journal and the Civil War memoirs of Philip Petty.

Thomas Washington White was born on July 4, 1866 in Morgan, Utah Territory. He was the son of William White and Elizabeth Pollow Warn. Thomas married Amy Vilate Porter, daughter of Alma Porter and Minerva Adaline Deuel, on October 20, 1891 in Porterville, Utah Territory. They had eleven children. Thomas died on February 8, 1939 in Alpine, Wyoming.
