John Porter (1590-1648), the founder of Windsor, Connecticut, was born at Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England, the son of John and Sybil Vessay Porter. He married Ann White in 1620 at Messing, Essex, England. They had eleven children 1621-1642. The family settled in Connecticut Valley in 1639. Descendants listed, chiefly some descendants to the fourth generation only, lived in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Thomas Ord (1828-1907), son of George Ord, Jr. and Mary Watson, was born in South Shileds, Durham, England. He marrried Eleanor Grant in 1856 and emigrated soon after. They settled in Utah. They had seven children.

Clarence Edmund Crowley was born 13 Feb 1881 in Ogden, Utah. His parents were Squire Green Crowley (1852-1920) and Harriet A. Hutchens (1860-1938). He married Mary Elizabeth Olmstead Crowley (1879-1974), daughter of Daniel Philip Olmstead (1854-1924) and Mary Jane Cooper (1860-1943), in 1901. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Ontario, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Idaho and Utah.

Abigail Olmstead, daughter of Harvey Olmstead and Anna Margaret, was born in 1818 in Eldridge, Ohio. She maried Eli Weed (1817-1841) in 1839 in Nauvoo, Illinois. They had two children. She married Wiley Hines Holden (d. 1852), son of Joshua Holden and Mary Talley, in 1846. They had four children. She married James Harvey Heath in 1854 in Utah. They had two children. She married Samuel Thompson in 1859 in Provo, Utah. She died in 1891 in Salina, Utah....
