Lucy A. Jenson Wetzel was born in Utah in 1917. She was raised in California where she lived with her mother and used her mother's maiden name Jensen. Information on both her mother's Jenson lines and her father's Wetzel lines is given in these volumes. Roger Williams (ca.1604-1684), was born in London, the son of James and Alice Pemberton Williams. He married Mary Barnard (d. 1676) 1629 at the Church of High Laver, Essex, England. He and Mary arrived in Boston, Massachusetts in 1631. They were parents of six children, all born in America (in Plymouth, Salem, and at Providence).
