Description
John George Obermayer left his parents in Germany when he came to America in 1751. When he arrived in Pennsylvania he soon found a job and a wife Eva Maria Rosenbaum. She died within ten years and John married again to Anna Barbara Vogt. He fought in the Revolutionary War and became a leader in the new country. Later his descendants moved west into Ohio and on into Indiana and Iowa.

Description
Johann Wendel Hautz was born in 1669 in Germary. Several of his children came to America and settle first in Pennsylvania. Later descendants moved further west. A number were converts of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and came west with the pioneers. Many of the other descendants still live in the midwest.

Description
Jacob Waggoner and John Waggoner were two of the four sons of Johan Michel Waggoner who left Germany about 1850 and immigrated to Pennsylvania. Their descendents later moved west and settled in Ohio, Michigan, Iowa. Many of the descendants are still living in the midwest.

John Hicks (1768-1845) married Elizabeth Butts, and moved from Vermont to Patriot, Indiana. Descendants to late 1970s lived in Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Oregon and elsewhere. Includes some Hicks and Butts ancestors in New England.

Jacob Clarence Wentz, Sr. was born in 1796 in York County, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Copenhoffer, ca. 1810. They had eight children. The family migrated to Ohio in 1837 and settled in Wyandot County. He died in 1854 and is buried in the old Wentz Cemetery, South Carey, Ohio. Descendants lived in Ohio, Indiana, and elsewhere.
