Robert Miller was born in 1799 in Georgia. He married Susannah Broadwell in 1824 in Hall County, Georgia. They had eleven children. Susannah died in 1864 and Robert married Charlotta Segar Patton. He died before 1876 in Blount County, Alabama. Descendants and relatives lived in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Illinois and elsewhere.

Louis Bible Patton, son of William C. Patton (b.1808) and Mary Elizabeth Bible (1812-1888), was born 20 January 1836 in Washington County, Tennessee. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ireland, Pennsylvania, Maryland,Tennessee and Kentucky.

The first name of the first known Brenton ancestor is unknown. He was born ca. 1720-1730 in Hampshire County, West Virginia where his eight children were also born. He died probably in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Washington, California, South Dakota, Colorado, and elsewhere.

Andrew B. Meloan was born in about 1753. He enlisted in 1775 in Cecil, Maryland and fought in the Revolutionary War. He married Rachel Ozier Zillerfrow, a widow with three children, in 1781. They had eight children. Andrew died in 1834 in Murray City, Calloway, Kentucky. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa and Missouri.
