Description
Philip Price (1623?-1720) emigrated in about 1690 from Wales to Haverford, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, moving in 1697 to Philadelphia (now Montgomery) County, Pennsylvania. Benjamin Price (b.1793), direct descendant in the sixth generation, married Jane C. Paxson, and lived in Philadelphia. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Includes Paxson ancestry in Pennsylvania.

Description
William Johnson immigrated from Ireland (though he was probably of English descent) to New Jersey, where he taught at Princeton about 1763. He married Ruth Potts of Trenton, New Jersey, and they moved to Philadelphia. He died at age 35. Descendants and relatives lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Includes autobiography of the author, Ann (Johnson) Paxson (d.1883).

Thomas Canby (ca. 1590-ca. 1667) of Thorne, Yorkshire, England, and his wife, Mary, had ten children, ca. 1628-ca. 1641. His grandson, Thomas Canby (1667-1742), a Quaker, was born at Thorne, Yorkshire, the son of Benjamin Canby (1637-1681/2). Zebulon Heston came from southeastern England. In 1684 he and his friend, Benjamin Wiggins, immigrate to America. He was sympathic to the cause of the Quakers and it is assumed that he became one after he arrived in the new world. He originally settled in New Jersey. Many of his descendants are included in this material.
