Thomas Baker was born March 11, 1848 in Blackdown, Somersetshire, England. His parents were John and Harriet Baker. He married Sarah Ann Medford (1844-1936) April 11, 1869 in Canton, Cardiff, Wales. Elias Rector Conner was born in 1814, perhaps in Indiana. He married in 1845 to Sarah Lilly, who was born in 1824 in West Virginia to David and Sarah (Wilson) Lilly. They moved in 1846 from Indiana to Minnesota and then in 1883 to South Dakota. He died in 1910. Descendants lived in Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, Michigan, Washington, and Canada. Allied names were Payne and Cleland.
