Sanford Payne was born ca. 1772 in Fairfax Co., Virginia. He was a descendant of one Richard Payne who was born ca. 1633 in Northumberland Co., Virginia. Sanford married Elizabeth Turley sometime prior to the year 1800. They lived in Virginia and were the parents of five children. Descendants lived primarily in Virginia.

Descendants lived in Missouri, Iowa, and elsewhere. Louisa married twice more to Henry Fisher in 1868 and Jason Ashworth in 1881....

Thomas Webb was born 2 October 1712 in Northumberland County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth in about 1739. They had six children. Thomas died in 1783. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Illinois, Tennessee, Texas and Arizona.

Reason Pittman (1807-1868) was born in South Carolina and married Neazy Farmer ca. 1827. In the mid-1860s, they moved to Clinton County, Kentucky. They were the parents of nine children. Reason had a brother named William Pittman (ca. 1800-ca. 1875) who was also born in South Carolina. William married twice and had seven children. By 1823, William and his family moved to Tennessee.
