Description
George Washington Main (1865-1949) and Mary Vianna Main (1872-1947) came to Indian Territory in 1896. They founded the I-O-A Ranch on the Cimarron, as a school in family living. The five farms on 650 acres were incorporated in 1939 and the first boy was enrolled in 1959. It became the Oklahoma Lions I-O-A Youth Ranch in 1969 and the Oklahoma Lions Boys Ranch in 1987. Also includes the allied Donnelly family.
