Description
John Pease was born in England in 1630 and came to Salem in 1634 with his parents. He married Mary Goodell in 1669 and they had four children. After her death he married Ann Cummings and they had three children. He and Ann and a daughter Abigail all died the same week in 1689. His descendants through his son Jonathan settled Enfield, Connecticut and are the subject of this material. Most still reside on the east coast.

Genealogy of John Pease (b. ca. 1607), who came from Ipswich, England to Boston, Mass. on board the ship Francis in April, 1634, and removed to Salem, Mass., where he was known to have been in 1637. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Ohio, and elsewhere. Ancestry is traced to John Pease who married Margaret Wilson in 1583 at Hull, England.

Daniel Markham was born before 22 June 1641 in Earls Colne, Essex, England, son of James Markham and Martha Collins. He married (1) Elizabeth Whitmore (1649-1676) in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1669 (2) Patience Harris (1648-1732) in 1677 in Middletown, Connecticut. Daniel died in 1712 in Middletown, Connecticut. Descendants lived in Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Utah, and elsewhere.

Howard Augustus Morris was born 8 December 1851 in Danbury, Connecticut. His parents were Granville W. Morris and ELizabeth A. Vail. He married Julia Nora Pease (1861-1938), daughter of Dan Francis Pease and Rachel Burzell, 9 September 1880. They had four children. He died in 1939 in Riverside, Illinois. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Illinois.
