The earliest Peeler ancestor was Johannes Buller, who came to Philadelphia, via London, from Germany in 1727. His son, Michael Bueler, moved to Rowan County, North Carolina from Pennsylvania in 1748. All of his children used the surname Peeler. George Walter Peeler (1895-1970) married Carrie May Holshouser (1896-1983) in 1920. John R. Stamey (1803-1844) married Nelly Williams (1800-1867) in 1822. Both are buried in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Their son, Joseph Henry Stamey (1825-1921), married Jane Dickson (1827-1907) in 1848. They are also buried in Lincolnton. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Texas, and elsewhere.

James Crowell Strickland (1861-1942), born in Polk County, North Carolina, was the son of Marcus Burrell Strickland and Eady Evaline Wilson. James married Rose Ann (also known as Rosanne and Rose Anna) Dunn in 1883 at Tunnel Hill, Georgia. In 1895, James and Rosa moved to Texas, settling in Coleman County, where many of their descendants live.

James Albert Lafayette Evers (1843-1910), son of John Alexander Evers, was born in Graves County, Kentucky. He married Ann Eliza McGee, daughter of Hugh McGee and Harriet Metcalfe, in 1865. They had nine children. He died in 1910 in Illinois. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Illinois.

Samuel Bennet (ca.1820-1896) married Elizabeth McCormick in 1843, and in 1882 the family immigrated from Scotland to Manitoba and in 1883 they settled at Moosomin (near Russell), Saskatchewan. John Page probably died between 28 July 1803 and 7 Mar 1804, the dates when his will was written and proved in Laurens County, South Carolina. His parents are not named, but he married Anne (?), no dates of birth, marriage, or names of her parents listed. They were the parents of 7 children. Anne moved to Warren County, Kentucky with five of her children. The descendants of John and Anne's eldest son, John Page II, have mostly lived in Texas.
