Johann Frederick Deck (1741-1820), a son of Mathias Dek, married Maria Veronica Seirer or Soerer in 1764 at Atolhoe, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Mathias Dek, the father, was the immigrant ancestor. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia and elsewhere.

Peter Pfeiffer (ca. 1602-ca. 1658) was born in Grenderich, Germany. One descendant, Johann Antonius Peifer (1852-1916), was born in Grenderich, Rheinland, Germany and came to the U.S. in 1882. He married Katharina Seimetz in 1884 in Chicago. Also includes descendants of Jois Pfeiffer (1659-1682), born in Hetzerath, Rheinland, Germany, another ancestor of Johann Antonius Peifer. Descendants lived in Illinois and elsewhere.

Henry Huber Hershey, son of Jacob E. Hershey and Fannie Huber, of Brunnerville, Pennsylvania was born in 1872. He married Ella Anna Hostetter (1870-1944), daughter of Jacob B. Hostetter and Harriet L. Nissley, in 1891 in Lititz, Pennsylvania. They had eleven children. He died in 1960. Traces ancestry for eight generations.
