Daniel Ritson (1816-1864), first child of Daniel and Mary Ritson, married Eleanor Irving in 1838, and in 1841 they immigrated from England to Lockport, New York, later moving to Wilmington, Delaware. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Delaware, New Jersey, New England, Texas and elsewhere.
