Harmon R. Gardner (ca.1807-1875), possibly the son of John Gardner and Lettice (Letty) Wood, married Caroline Kendrick in 1838 in Henry County, Tennessee, and moved to Polk County, Missouri about 1843, and in 1866 to Marion County, Arkansas. Descendants lived in Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Texas, California and related families.

George Bluford Pendergraft was born 3 February 1809 in Kentucky. He married Katherine Lucinda Starnes in about 1830. They had twelve children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Missouri.

Robert Barclay was born 3 January 1772 in Rowan County, North Carolina. He married Mary Hubbard (1785-1857), daughter of Durrett Hubbard and Susannah, 3 March 1802 in Louisiana. They had thirteen children. He died 14 March 1846 in Polk County, Missouri. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

David Jacks, son of Nicholas Jacks and Jane (?) was born 27 October 1795 in Surry County, North Carolina. He married Rachel Johnson, daughter of William Johnson and Mary Parks, 16 June 1821. In 1827, David and Rachel, their son Thomas Mastin Jacks, and daughters Alzena and Jane Jacks, moved with other members of the Jacks clan to Jackson County, Alabama.
