John Kinsey Dyer, son of James Dyer and Jane, was born in 1798 in Fairfax County, Virginia. He married Sintha Ann Tuell (d. 1840) in 1819. They had ten children. He married Ann Eliza Crump in 1841. They had five children. He also had a son by Susannah Williams, Peter Dyer b. 1819. John died in 1884. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia.
