Pierre Perrin, a Huguenot, was born in La Rochelle, France. He immigrated to America in 1685 and settled on Staten Island, New York, where he died in 1698. His son, Daniel Perrin (1640-1719) immigrated to America in 1665, having sailed from a port on the Isle of Jersey. He married Marie Thorel (1640-1687) in 1666. They lived on Staten Island.
