Park Glen Hosford was born 10 June 1880 in Versailles, Illinois. His parents were Martin Strong Hosford (1839-1926) and Matilda Ann Davis (1842-1927). He married Phoebe Ethel Lanier (1890-1977), daughter of Thomas Lindsey Lanier and Margaret Angeline Hurst, in 1908. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Connecticut, and Illinois.

Isaac Van Norman Davis was born in 1775 in Massachusetts. He married Mercy Rogers who died in 1818 in Canada. He remarried Margaret Robidoux who died in 1862. He died in 1853 in Illinois. John Petty (Pettis) was from Massachusetts and believed to have been born England between 1635 and 1640. He was married in 1662 to Ann Canning and died in 1679/80 in Massachusetts. John Petty (1635/1640-1680) immigrated from England to Boston, Massachusetts, married Ann Canning in 1662, and moved to Windsor, Conn- ecticut in 1663, and to Springfield, Massachusetts in 1665. Descendants lived in New England, New York, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Nebraska, Georgia and elsewhere.

Steven Coerte VanVoorhees was born in about 1599 in Hees, Drenthe, Netherlands. He married Aaltjen Wessels in about 1625 and they had four children. He married Willempie Roelofse Seubering in about 1649 and they had six children. They emigrated in 1660 and settled in Amersfort, New York. Steven died in 1684 in Flatlands, New York. Josiah Raynor (b. 1665) left Southampton, Long Island, New York and lived in Southold, Long Island, and later, Lyme, Connecticut. He eventually returned to Long Island and settled in St. George's Manor (Manorville). About 1687, he married Sarah Higby (or Higbie). Josiah died before 1743 in Southampton, Long Island. He was a grandson of Thurston Raynor who immigrated to New England from Ipswich, England in 1634.

Henry Jolley, son of John and Louisa Bryan Jolley, was born 26 August 1789 in Pitt County, North Carolina. He married Frances Manning (1789-1844), daughter of Reuben Manning and Diana McCoy, 23 January 1806. In 1825, the Jolleys moved to Tennessee.
