Thomas Graham Doxey, son of George Doxey and Mary Graham, was born in 1874 in Warsop, Nottinghamshire, England. He married Emma Pearl Hayes (1879-1968), daughter of William Hayes and Mary Ann Riser, in 1899 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had eight children. He died in 1947 in Salt Lake City.

Joseph Abel (1816-1892) was born in Duntisbourne, Gloucester County, England, and married Rachel Jane Curtis. They were the parents of Obed Abell. Apparently Obed and his parents were converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and at least some of the family immigrated from England to Utah. William Mathis emigrated from Ireland in 1790 and settled in Green County, Kentucky. He married Hepsiba Philpott (1780-1867)and they had eight children. William died in 1926 and his widow and children moved to Des Moines County, Iowa in 1834. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Iowa.

Joshua Phipps (1764/1766-1857), the father of Peter Phipps, married twice and moved from Virginia to Kentucky and then to Randolph County, Missouri. Peter Phipps (ca.1790-1873/1874) married Nancy Davenport in Wayne County, Kentucky, and moved for a few years in the 1820s/1830s to Fentress County, Tennessee, later returning to Wayne County, Kentucky. Descendants and relatives also lived in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota, Texas and elsewhere.
