George Parkhurst (ca.1588-1675), son of John and Sarah Parkhurst, was probably born in Ipswich, County Suffolk, England. He was married to Phebe Leete and was in Watertown, Massachusetts by 1642. In 1644 he married Susanna Simson and later returned to England, although many of his descendants remained and spread throughout the U.S.

Eliza A . Wiggins was born in 1841. She married Elbridge H. Corson. They had three children. Their daughter, Mabel Eliza Corson, married Frank Edwin Pierce.

James Womble was born 3 December 1785. His parents were Samuel Womble (1763-1814) and Jane Tyson (1765-1846). He married Joanna Warren (b. ca. 1785) 15 December 1805 probably in North Carolina. James died about 1849 probably in Bedford County, Tennessee. Joanna is found in the census for Bowie County, Texas in 1850. They had nine children who were born in North Carolina and Tennessee. The family emigrated from Isleworth-on-the-Thames, England, and settled at Watertown, Massachusetts, in 1635. He married (2) Judith Clement at Watertown in 1659. She died before her husband. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, New York, Connecticut, and throughout the United States.
