Shadrack, Mesheck and Abednego Pierson were triplets born in 1754 in Bromfield parish of Culpeper County, Virginia. All three boys fought in the Revolutionary War and Abednego was killed. Another brother, Charles, enlisted with Shadrack in the same company and was also killed. Includes information about the battles. Includes descendants of Shadrack and Rachel Clinch Pierson in Kentucky, Indiana, and Missouri.

Thomas Dickerson Pierson was born 16 October 1840 in Hamilton, Ontario. His parents were James Pierson and Jane Dickerson. He married Elizabeth Violetta Gable (1846-1917), daughter of John Henry Gable (1818-1899) and Leah D. Holtzapple (1825-1913), in 1868 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They had seven children. He died in 1919. Includes Sanders and related families.
