Shadrack, Mesheck and Abednego were triplets born in 1754 in Bromfield parish of Culpeper County, Virginia. All three boys fought in the Revolutionary War and Abednego was killed. This history traces the descendants of Shadrack and Mesheck Pierson.

Arthur Tappan Pierson (1837-1911), son of Stephen Piersion and Sallie, was born in New York City. He married Sally Frances Benedict and they had seven children.
